My stay at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa was marred by numerous service issues and maintenance problems. While the room had ample space, it was outdated and not well-maintained. I experienced significant delays in responses to my requests, and unfortunately, the overall service fell short of expectations. Additionally, my breakfast order was never picked up, which was quite disappointing. Despite these drawbacks, I did appreciate the helpful maintenance staff when they finally arrived.
Our stay was a mixed bag. The villas offered relatively good space for our family and a convenient kitchen, which we appreciated. However, the property overall felt a bit worn-out, especially the grounds and the villas, showing clear signs of age. We had a clean room but were disappointed by the lack of basic kitchen supplies and the presence of pet dander from guests' dogs nearby. The location was beneficial, with grocery stores and restaurants close by, but the amenities like the pool could use some updates.
The resort has spacious rooms and a beautiful atmosphere, making it a decent choice for both conference attendees and golfers. However, the decor is looking dated, and there was a frustrating daily parking fee. Overall, it's a solid pick for a longer stay, but be prepared for some inconveniences.
I had an amazing experience at the hotel, with beautiful grounds and a fantastic golf course in the background. The staff were amazing, accommodating my family's needs during my son's wedding. However, the villa we stayed in was a bit tired and needed some maintenance. Overall, it was a great stay, but some improvements could be made to enhance the experience.
We had a nice three-night stay at the hotel in early December. The premium service suite was spacious and clean with amazing views, and the grounds were beautiful. However, the dining added automatic gratuity, which led to some confusion in tipping, and it would have been nice to have better coffee options in the lounge.
